Ceremony Celebrating the Launch of the TCCC Program Between the LAF and RFL

On the 15th of May 2017, LAF Commander in Chief, General Joseph Aoun met with Mrs. Zeina Kassar Kassem to sign a formal agreement to launch a rescue program for military personnel and civilians during conflicts and engagements. Tactical Combat Casualty Care in Lebanon is a collaborative project involving The Lebanese Armed Forces Roads for Life, the Talal Kassem Fund for Post Accident Care, in partnership with Fransabank.
General Aoun expressed his appreciation to Mrs. Kassem for the initiative that would assist the troops in dealing with injuries before the arrival of medical teams. General Aoun praised the humanitarian efforts exerted by the Association in terms of rescuing the citizens and training medical teams on the best ways to manage trauma incidents during the golden period.
Mrs. Kassem expressed on her part that it is necessary that everybody assists the army and noted that this project will contribute to save injured troops and boost the morale of their families. General Aoun concluded the ceremony by offering Mrs. Kassem a commemorative shield.
