100 Lebanese Army Instructors Trained in 2018

30 November 2018

In 2018, Roads For Life began training the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) in the Tactical Casualty Combat Care (TCCC) to prevent the most common causes of preventable death on the battlefield.

The objective of TCCC are to provide lifesaving care to the injured combatant, to limit the risk of further casualties, and to help the unit successfully complete their mission. By controlling life-threatening bleeds on the battlefield within 30 seconds, TCCC mitigates the risk of volume shock and death.

This year, 100 Lebanese Army trainers have graduated with TCCC certification at the Hamat Special Forces School, learning life saving techniques in service both soldiers and citizens in times of crisis.

This expansion of Roads For Life and its reach in saving lives in the “Golden Hour” of trauma for our Lebanese soldiers could not have been possible without the strategic partnership of Fransabank and in collaboration with Lebanese Red Cross trainers.
