Tactical Casualty Combat Care®

Tactical Casualty Combat Care®

TCCC for military

Tactical Casualty Combat Care® (TCCC®), is the premiere course for combat medics. Developed by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians® (NAEMT®), TCCC® introduces evidence-based, life-saving techniques and strategies for providing the best trauma care on the battlefield.

It is the only combat medic course endorsed by the American College of Surgeons® (ACS®). NAEMT® conducts TCCC® courses under the auspices of its PHTLS program, the recognized world leader in prehospital trauma education.

NAEMT®'s TCCC® courses are taught by a global network of experienced, well-trained instructors. To support course sites, instructors and students, NAEMT® maintains a network of tactical affiliate faculty both in the U.S. and internationally, and staff at its Headquarters Office.

In strategic alignment with the LAF’s objective of having one certified combat medic embedded in every unit, Roads for Life, in partnership with the Lebanese Red Cross and the American University of Beirut, have successfully implemented TCCC and has trained 150 LAF soldiers in TCCC® since 2018.
